Birds of a feather session at ISC19
The Eurolab4HPC project’s BoF session titled “What are the greatest challenges to be addressed by Academic HPC Systems Research?” was an inspiring session with academic researchers and different stakeholders discussing and contributing to Eurolab4HPC’s vision for academic research in high performance computing.
The Birds of a feather session was organized in June at the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC19) in Frankfurt, Germany. Four expert presenters engaged with the audience in a lively and hopefully controversial interactive session on possible radical changes foreseen in all aspects of high-performance computing systems over the next decade.
